Nancy Weber, Trustees is given to the new Ordained Minister Practitioner. The following describes the beliefs that we hold that offers the participant the opportunity to have their own healing practices under the umbrella of the LifeSpirit Congregational Church. The Minister Practitioner is further directed as follows:
1. The Minister Practitioner is obligated to care for the health and wellbeing of the Minister, communicants and family members as an expressive association activity; including the provision of pure nutrition, pure water, pure energetics and spirituality; including but not limited to dietary supplementation, nature’s herbs (extracts and natural derivatives thereof), the produce of church gardens or other organic sources, essential oils and all allied products, body work such as massage and laying on of hands, spiritual modalities such as, but not limited to, Reiki, Raindrop Technique ®, homeopathy, meditation, education, pilgrimage, spiritual retreat and renewal. 2. The Minister Practitioner is obligated to avoid all abominations and to provide Pastoral Counseling Letters for communicants and family members with regard to religious conscientious objections to such abominations as vaccination, dangerous drugs and invasive techniques, or obligations of service that violate conscience.
A major benefit for all holistic practitioners and all Young Living Oilers who receive commissions. This is a sampling from Part Two of the Lightwing Center Handbook for the course: “…neither this court nor any branch of this government will consider the merits or fallacies of a religion. Nor will the court compare the beliefs, dogmas, and practices of a newly organized religion with those of an older, more established religion…” - Universal Life Church, Inc. vs. United States, 372 F. Supp. 770, 776 (E.D. Cal 1974) Section 501(c)(3) of Title 26 (IRS Code) provides that associations or other entities that are “organized and operated” for religious, charitable, educational, scientific research or literary purposes may be tax exempt. Section 508 states that “churches, associations of churches and integrated auxiliaries” are “MANDITORILY” exempt. Congress has instructed the IRS that churches must be treated as exempt. Further, a church does not have to apply to the IRS for that status. However, LifeSpirit Church has so applied and, in 1974, its exempt status recognized. In 1975 the more difficult status of a “Group Exemption” was granted, which allows the Church to easily charter local units.
